Many seasonal flowers bloom in the garden of TERAKOYA. In early spring, a plum tree of more than 400 years produces white flowers, a cherry tree with drooping branches (しだけさくら) in the heart of the spring gives clusters of flowers rocked by the wind, the satsuki azaleas, azalea dye brightly the artificial hill at the beginning of the summer. It is also during this period that blooms the vermilion Grenadier. In summer hydrangeas are wet in the rain and at the end of the hot season lilacs of summer bloom. In fall the osmanthus flowers, olive tree of China, bathe a sweet perfume the garden.
